Fernie Bed and Breakfasts started around the 1900's where the bed and breakfasts of Fernie could present their accommodation product to the visitors to Fernie. The Old Nurses Residence started as a boarding house for Fernie's Nurses. Now it is run by a bed and breakfast and is open to visitors from around the world.
